MTE Consultants Inc. has extensive experience working with our clients in evaluating opportunities for residential land development. We assemble a team of dedicated professionals to review the project and confirm the servicing and development opportunities. Once a decision has been made to investigate the property further, MTE will complete a number of studies to justify the development potential. This includes: pre-development engineering, environmental and drainage studies, evaluation of the estimated costs, scheduling, establishing the financing requirements and approval process to get a project underway.
We have the staff expertise to address all ministry, municipal and regional approvals, and will take the project from preliminary design studies through to final design and construction. At MTE we use Total-Station survey crews for topographic survey and layout controls on all of our projects. We pride ourselves on having senior, experienced construction inspectors who can administer the contracts, providing expertise and commitment for our clients.
MTE will direct the project through the area grading program, balancing the cut / fill needs on the site, to minimize the earth moving costs on a project. As well, we advance the preliminary sedimentation and siltation controls through to the final stormwater management needs on the site, while completing the servicing and staging of the roadworks construction.

MTE has the expertise in the detailed design of water treatment systems, pumping stations and water distribution systems, including the detailed design of pumps, piping and valving. Typical projects include the development of isometric drawings, selection of equipment and review of shop drawings.
MTE has demonstrated the ability to carry a variety of water supply projects through preliminary design, detailed design, approvals, tendering, construction and warranty period. Our diverse range of municipal engineering expertise allows us to complete tasks associated with both municipal and private water treatment, pumping and distribution projects, including site grading design, structural design, site servicing (yard piping) and access road design.
MTE partners with experienced sub-consultants to complete the electrical and instrumentation / control design requirements on a project. We work closely with our clients and sub-consultants to ensure appropriate control systems are provided. Typical controls include Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs) and control narratives.
