Over the years MTE has developed an expertise in the design of cold formed steel structures used for exterior cladding support. Many buildings utilize cold formed steel studs for the exterior wall framing, parapet framing and canopy structures.
Our team has also aquired a comprehensive expertise in the design of cold formed steel load bearing systems. Load bearing wall panels are mainly used in multi-storey buildings that have repetitive floor plates. These building include condominiums, school residence, seniors residence and hotels. We have designed these structures with various floor and roof systems such as steel joists/composite deck, precast concrete slabs and Light Gauge Metal joists / composite deck.
Working on existing structures comes with its own set of challenges that MTE is well equipped to deal with. Our background in design allows us to quickly and efficiently resolve any difficulties that arise.
We have been involved in the review of existing structures for building owners, buyers and sellers. In addition we have assessed and reported on damage from fire, wind, impact, decay, snow, water, ice and vibrations.
| Our technical experience frequently takes us beyond the realm of conventional building design. Our qualified staff is well suited to analyze and design. |
