Sustainability

Caring for our environment starts with the choices we make every day—on our sites, in our offices, and in our communities.

Reducing our operational carbon footprint

Since 2020, MTE has advanced our sustainability efforts through a dedicated Corporate Sustainability Committee and Green Teams in every office. We’re targeting a 10% absolute carbon reduction by 2031, with a focus on travel-related emissions. To get there, we’re investing in EV chargers, hybrid vehicles, solar feasibility, and virtual collaboration. Our award-winning initiatives reflect the strong engagement of our team and our shared drive to create a more sustainable future.

Empowering employees to make a difference

Sustainability at MTE isn’t just a corporate initiative—it’s a shared responsibility. We empower our team members to take part in our sustainability journey in meaningful ways.

Employees have access to EV charging stations and are encouraged to carpool to events and staff functions. They also participate in community sustainability efforts such as tree plantings, litter cleanups, invasive species management, and regional challenges like SWR’s Carbon Cleanse and Green Economy London’s Workplace Green Up.

Corporate sustainability committee & Green Teams

MTE’s sustainability journey is driven by people. Since 2020, our Corporate Sustainability Committee and office-based Green Teams have been championing real change—organizing initiatives, building awareness, and bringing sustainability to life across all our locations.
