We are currently seeking a Designer to join our Civil Division to work out of our Barrie office.

Responsibilities
- Perform design and analysis for a range of ICI and residential developments to meet client and review agency requirements, including storm and sanitary sewer design, site grading design, water distribution system design, and storm water management design and modelling
- Perform traffic engineering studies, using Synchro/Sim
- Traffic modelling
- Communicate with project managers, clients and consultants to ensure design will work within the overall scope of the project
- Attend and participate in project team meetings and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of project deliverables
- Field review of construction projects, as needed
- Other related duties, as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Technician, or Degree in Civil Engineering
- 0-3 years of related work experience
- Traffic engineering experience, or education, is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
- AutoCAD Design experience
- Experience with technical report writing
- Working knowledge of MS Office

Salary Range
$57,600 – $72,000 per year base salary, plus benefits
Annual Salary will be based on individual education, qualifications, and relevant work experience.
