MTE's Involvement
As part of the site development plans, MTE was proud to provide environmental consulting services for the Site which included the decommissioning of historical underground storage tanks (USTs).
MTE oversaw the removal of two USTs with the approximate capacity of 45,000 Litres (L) each. MTE also completed confirmatory soil sampling to support the preparation of UST closure documents in accordance with Technical Standards and Safety Authority 2012 Environmental Management Protocol (EMP). MTE’s role included submission of technical documents to the TSSA to facilitate closure of the USTs in accordance with the EMP. Official closure with the TSSA was received in April 2026.
