MTE's Involvement
MTE’s role in this project involved preparing the civil designs for phases III and IV of the subdivision, comprising a total of 34 residential units. Our team also assisted with construction and post-construction engineering for this phase. This scope included essential aspects, including stormwater management, sanitary and water servicing, grading, the design of the community park and pathways, and road infrastructure development within the subdivision.
Phase IV, currently in the detailed design phase, places a major emphasis on reducing surplus material generated from previous phases, which significantly influenced the proposed road profiles for this phase.
Situated at the boundary between the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) and the Saugeen Conservation Regulatory Authority (SCRCA) regions, these lands require a coordinated approach during the detailed design process.
Collaboration with both of these conservation authorities has been an integral part of our project’s planning and execution. Ensuring
compliance with their regulations and guidelines has been a priority, as we recognize the significance of preserving the natural environment and managing water resources effectively in this unique location.
