MTE's Involvement

MTE was proud to serve as the Engineer of Record for this exciting project, providing multidisciplinary engineering services and coordinating the overall project to help bring this new attraction to life.

Our team provided structural, civil, surveying, and geotechnical engineering services throughout the project. This included serving as the Engineer of Record, coordinating design services, converting the existing pool into an underground storage tank with the slide run-out slab, designing the retaining walls, and providing general review during construction.

Our civil engineering team completed the site grading and municipal servicing design, while our surveyors completed the existing conditions surveys and construction layout. Our geotechnical team carried out the site investigations and provided soil, concrete, and steel testing to support the project from start to finish.

It was a pleasure collaborating with ProSlide, whose team designed and engineered the waterslide, including the support steel and associated foundations. Their specialized expertise, combined with the contributions of the entire project team, helped bring Ontario’s newest waterslide to life.
