MTE Consultants is pleased to announce that Steve Russell, Senior Risk Assessment Specialist and Toxicologist, will be presenting at the Canadian Brownfields Network (CBN) National Conference on June 2, 2026, at the Burlington Convention Centre.
The annual conference brings together a diverse group of brownfield stakeholders, including developers, regulators, legal advisors, environmental professionals, municipal leaders, and industry experts to discuss emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in brownfield redevelopment.
This year’s theme, “The Business of Brownfields: Innovations from Data to Dirt to Dollars,” highlights the innovative approaches and practical solutions helping transform underutilized and contaminated properties into valuable community assets.
As part of the conference’s Transformative Project Profiles program, Steve will join Nicole Vasey, Sales and Development Coordinator at Momentum Developments, to present “Unlocking Brownfield Value at Charlie West.” The presentation will explore how strategic risk assessment, collaboration, and redevelopment planning contributed to unlocking value and advancing a complex brownfield project.
