Killam Apartment REIT’s Civic 66 is an 11-storey, mixed-use structure that brings 170 residential units to Kitchener’s entertainment district. As sustainability was a key consideration of the design, the structure is fixed with energy-efficient window glazing, electric vehicle charging stations and roof top solar panels that power the building and its geothermal heating and cooling system.
